I’ll sum up a clip out of Genesis 20-22:
Abraham and Sarah deceive King Abimelech by not saying she is Abraham’s wife. God intervenes and tells Abimelech the truth, that she is Abraham’s wife!
My awe inspired thought is that at this point in their lives Sarah is somewhere in her 80’s and apparently still so vibrant and beautiful that the King wanted to have her as his wife…. It encourages me that even as we age, we are still beautiful!
My TAKEAWAY:
We are beautiful even as we accumulate years!
