It was the week before the 4th of July holiday weekend and my guest list was expanding. I realized much too late that I’d need a second house to accommodate all our company. I went to the VRBO website I had used so often before but found that everything was booked! As I looked around the site I realized that a house we had previously rented was not listed. A bit in desperation, I dug up an old email with the contact information for this house. I called the owner and was thrilled to learn that his property was available!
As we chatted and worked out the rental agreement, the real miracle came to light, somehow this man’s properties were not listed – much to his dismay – on the busiest weekend of the year he had a vacancy because of that ‘lost listing’.
I think God was just saving the house for me and my big family long before I knew we’d need it!
