It was odd that our dog ran off, so I was thankful when a stranger called and said they had our puppy,
Toby. We immediately went over to their house to pick him up and started chatting with the nice people.
Our conversation turned to what we all do for a living. When I told them I worked for Eastman Kodak in
the HR department they were most interested as their son-in-law also worked for Kodak. But much to
these folks’ sadness, the work took their daughter and her family to Great Britain. Boldly they asked if
perhaps I could get him transferred back to the States!
It was a big ask, but he was trained in a valuable specialty to Kodak, so I did make the introductions
and not long after he was transferred back to the States!
Incredible how a lost dog, a conversation, and a bold ask – all put together by our Father can keep
the family’s together!
