“Many people seem to have elevated the activity of study above intimacy with God…. However, study cannot replace intimacy and relationship.
For example. If my wife (Anna Holland) came with a very large instruction manual I would definitely want to read this manual. If there were blogs written about her, I would surely want to read the blogs and even comment. If there were podcasts recorded about her, I too would want to listen. But, if I do not spend time with her – then all of this is no different than me being a groupie, a roadie, a follower, a fan, or whatever you would call it. Only spending time with her will build depth and relationship.”
