Steadfast
My Notes:
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
Psalm 51:1
Steadfast can mean: to cast as in molten metal, to stiffen, to settle down. To be of long continuance, permanent, stable. To be sure, immovable, … to sit.
All this as I’m having to be off my leg and on crutches for 6+ weeks… For someone who rarely sits down, this disrupts my summer plans.
But it’s God’s plan;
so I settle in and sit down.
I’m working on being steadfast.
Lord help me sit still.
