God gave Moses the recipe for the Holy Anointing oil and for the Sacred Incense… it’s written out of all to see. Then, immediately He tells us – it’s not for our personal use, it’s holy, and if we make some for ourselves we’ll be cut off. (We know He told all this to the Israelites, but we can extrapolate it to ourselves.) This is a bit of a flashback into the Garden of Eden, with the beautiful fruit filled trees that are to be kept holy.
My realization is that He TRUSTS us! He gives us the benefit of the doubt.
I find this incredible, as I know how untrustworthy I truly am! Yet, He trust each of us, every day to share His love with others.
We can only be trustworthy when HIS nature is in us, as He is eternally TRUSTWORTHY.
Only through Christ can we hold His nature.
