May we pray Moses’s blessing over the families in the ‘fog of war’ today:
“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you, and give you peace.”
Num. 6:24-26
My paraphrase:
May God’s care of you keep you safe today, May His glory light your way as He guides you, May He keep His eye on you so at any moment He can intervene and bless you with His peace.
… keeping you safe because you are being watched over by God….
